yeah, i missed Jake and after buying like 9 episodes from iTunes and of course watching them, i HAD to do some Jake Long fanart. I was listening to "Lucky You" by Lostprophets sometimes between finsihing Jake and debating on a background. so one came up. the soundtrack/DVD cover from Spider-Man 2 gives a really cool view of NYC, so I used that.

but then i didnt want to draw more buildings on the other side of him, so rather than leaving it blank i made clouds.
partially laziness, partially because i just didnt want all buildings in the background...that big bulb to the right is the sun, btw.

i was debating whether or to color this. i was going to it marker, but then i rethought that, thinking i would want it to be more detailed if i colored it and markers are too vague, so if i do color it it'll be in colored pencils. (i found my old art cases, with all the supplies n such in it. the pencils in there are heaven-sent. im mad i never used them before )</sub>
