same style as the other "tattoos," even though this also falls under the category of more tattoo-inspired than an actual tattoo design.
Again, still not one of my favorites, but still likable enough to put here instead of the blog.

In the Dodie Smith books Pongo's wife is actually a dog named Missis--but, before you go nuts over Disney's mixing of characters--the character of Perdita from the Disney films is pretty much Missis, just with a different (or rather borrowed) name.  The Perdita from the book was a liver-spotted dalmatian.  (My guess is that Disney borrowed the name because they liked it alongside Pongo's name or just didn't want to leave Missis without a name).
Anyway, the reason I bring this up is because I was originally going to make this Missis, but then I thought technically book-Missis and movie-Perdita are pretty much the same character, so I went with Perdy.

Also, regarding the books--more specifically the lesser-known second book, "The Starlight Barking"--Missis brings up the term "metaphysical" a lot, and it's a word that she becomes pretty fond of, so it's a term that I always associate with her.

I have the book at this moment...and it's somewhat different. Missis is okay, although I kind of feel that Perdita is under-appreciated in it. She is just the dog who is good at washing puppies, the one who is too thin due to lack of good nourishment during her pregnancy...I don't dislike Missis (although I kind of find Pongo a little...old fashion I suppose, but then again it's an older book so I suppose it's not surprising), but it seems that Disney wanted to give her a bigger role...they didn't want to add an extra dog (especially if that role was quite minor).
